The Stake needs three volunteers from the Midvale YSA Ward to help at the Murray Utah Cannery on Nov 15Fri from 12:30pm - 3:30pm  Volunteers will be canning soup. Please contact Kelly at 801.691.4524 if you would like to help out.

Heather Myers is  renewing her first aid and cpr certification this week with the American Heart Association. If you are interested in renewing or learning some of these important skills please contact her asap the class is 4 hours  and is about $70-80 and the more people have attend the class in less it costs.

 This information is always good to have in case of an emergency and the the certification is valid for two years usually. Please call/ txt me ASAP 801-599-9861

Ward service assignment

Deseret manufacturing assignment. Wed aug 5th. 1700 s east 215 By distribution center Door NE Corner, Mention your for, the Murray USA stake Here for your assignment 7:30-11:30. Noon - 3:30

St George Info

We leave the morning of August 8. The activities committee is working on putting car pools together. We are asking participants to contribute $25 which will go towards paying the drivers for gas. We will have a few boats at Sand Hollow Reservoir Thursday afternoon and then dinner at the resort after boating. We will be staying at the Villas at Southgate, a time share resort located along the first fairway of the Southgate Golf Course. Friday morning will be a grab and go breakfast and then "free time". I plan to play 18 holes at CoralCanyon with my free time. After lunch on Friday we plan to visit the St. George Temple. Pick your own level; endowment, sealing, baptism, or a visit to the visitors center. Dinner Friday evening and the Mary Poppins at Tuachan. Saturday morning again is free time. I plan on shooting sporting clays. The plan is to then return home Saturday afternoon. Free time is for groups to get together and plan activities they want to do. I have heard of hiking, visit to Zion National Park, shopping and just hanging out poolside. The cost of free time is not included as part of the trip. All in all I think it should be a pretty fun time. I believe we have about 50 committed to go.
